What we do

Private clients and jewellers. Every stone is assessed before we cut — weight, beauty, and what the material will honestly allow.

Rough → preform → faceted

Turn your rough gemstones into brilliant, faceted treasures with our professional cutting and polishing service. We use precision techniques to enhance each stone’s natural beauty — maximising colour, clarity, brilliance, and carat weight. Every gemstone is unique, and we approach each one with the same care we would give our own. Unlike many commercial cutting centres that prioritise weight over beauty, we strike the balance between the two — retaining optimal weight without compromising brilliance. Whether it is sapphire, emerald, ruby, or another precious or semi-precious stone, the aim is to unlock the full potential of the gem and bring out the lustre and value it deserves.

Bring damaged, dull, or worn gemstones back to life. Whether the stone has chips, scratches, surface wear, or has lost its original shine, we restore brilliance, clarity, and value. We work with all types of gemstones, including sapphires, rubies, emeralds, and tourmalines, and assess each stone to decide the best restoration approach. The goal is to revive natural beauty while preserving character and weight. Ideal for vintage jewellery, heirloom pieces, or stones affected by everyday wear — so the gem looks vibrant again without losing what made it yours.

This service restores the integrity and appearance of stones that have been chipped, cracked, or damaged — especially during jewellery setting. Sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and tourmalines often suffer from poor handling or pressure in the mount. We specialise in repairing these issues with precision techniques that minimise weight loss while restoring brilliance, shape, and symmetry. A minor chip or a more serious fracture is assessed individually so the repair is effective. Trusted by jewellers and private clients, this work preserves value and beauty without always needing a full recut.

Transform gemstones with custom cutting tailored to your preferences — a classic design or a one-of-a-kind statement piece. We use advanced techniques and tools for precision, brilliance, and optimal beauty in every cut. From faceted gems to cabochons, we work with a variety of stones including emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and more. Share the design intent and we will advise what the rough or existing gem can support, then cut accordingly.

Opal, turquoise, jade, amethyst and carnelian — shaped and polished as cabochons

We craft smooth, polished cabochons that showcase the natural charm of the stone. Whether it is opal, moonstone, turquoise, jade, or another gem, each piece is shaped and polished to highlight unique colour and texture. Ideal for jewellery or collection pieces, cabochon cutting is done with the same care as faceted work — precision, a quiet finish, and a result that lasts.

Expert drilling for custom jewellery and design requirements. Whether you need precise holes for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or other constructions, each drill is placed with accuracy and care. We work with a variety of gemstones, including sapphires, emeralds, and rubies, using equipment that maintains the integrity and beauty of the stone. Hole size and position are confirmed before work begins.

Professional carving brings designs, patterns, and small sculptures out of the stone. From custom motifs and symbolic engravings to more elaborate work for jewellery or decorative pieces, we use considered tools and techniques for precision and elegance. Jade, quartz, agate, and other carving stones — the design sits in the material rather than fighting it.

Side-by-side oval ruby: dull and poorly cut on the left, brilliant after recutting on the right
Before and after recutting — light returned without wasting the stone

We recut badly cut stones to enhance brilliance, symmetry, and overall value. If the gem has uneven facets, poor proportions, or lacks sparkle, precision recutting can transform it. From sapphires, rubies, and emeralds to other precious and semi-precious gems, we focus on light performance and preserve carat weight wherever possible — so the stone shows the cut it should have had.

When a gem is missing or broken, we match and source a stone that closely resembles the original — for a perfect fit and a seamless look. Ideal for restoring rings, pendants, earrings, and other jewellery settings. If anything needs cutting to fit the mount, we take care of that too.
